I'm thrilled to say hosting my very first booth (and at a big event nonetheless), went extremely well! I nearly sold out, and the majority of it sold in the first hour or so. I'm so overwhelmed by what a great response I got. A lot of my customers were people who already knew me, but many were also people I'd never met before, so that was great!
I have to give a TON of credit to my husband and parents. The days leading up to the bazaar, and the day itself, they were right next to me, helping me set up, price items, solve problems, quell a few of my meltdowns (haha), feed me, hydrate me, etc. etc. etc. I don't know if I've ever felt more loved than those few days. I was so incredibly nervous, especially the couple days beforehand, and all three of them were such comforts to me. I've thanked them all about a thousand times for all their help, but I don't know if I'll ever be able to adequately express my gratitude to them.
Now, I'm on to the next stage of my business: conquering the custom work flow and hopefully launching my Etsy page sometime soon (while maintaining a full-time job). I've already got a few custom pieces in the works, and I'm excited! It's really validating to see that people are still interested in my artwork and want to partner with me on their ideas.
Stay tuned for some posts about the fun things I'm making for people! And feel free to email me if you've got an idea in mind ;)
